The CW-4 barge starts work at BAE Systems today. Here's a few photos of Challenger mobilising the barge ready to load the long reach excavator.
On behalf of a good client of ours, we are offering 4no. Yellow Special Marker Buoys for sale with or without the mooring equipment. They were used to mark the worksite during the Brodick Ferry Terminal works & are now no longer required. The lights on top are yellow & Fl(4)Y 12s. Please contact us if these are if interest. UPDATE: the chain lengths are 24m, 32m, 42m & 44m. All have a train wheel sinker & a swivel 2m below the buoy. One of the buoys has a damaged lifting point & is missing a light. Therefore only 3 of them are currently fully functional. Asking price is £3,500+vat for the lot. Delivery can be arranged. More photos below.
